I’ve stumbled across a Lingerie Football League game or two on TV, and of course I tuned in to see what was going on. It’s basically crappy arena style football being played by washed up strippers wearing things that AREN’T LINGERIE. Shouldn’t lingerie be a part of the uniform? Also, I don’t know why some of the players wear eye black- you’re inside, there’s no sun that you need to worry about.
I’m not a football coach, and have never been in a locker room at halftime, but this speech has to rank up there with Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday or Knute Rockne saying, “Win one for the Gipper!” All I know is this- if I’m hiring a coach for a football team, I want Gilbert Brown. Anyone that can get worked up enough to care about this crap can motivate those actually competing in the sport.
And here is Al Pacino giving his classic speech. If the football scenes had some basis in reality, this would have been a much better movie.
